📺 Synopsis (Summary For Beginners): Uzumaki Naruto is a young shinobi of Konoha (Hidden Leaf Village) who is rejected by a lot of people for having the Nine-Tailed beast sealed within him. He aspires to become Hokage (Head of the village) so that everyone would accept him.

6. Naruto Canon Episodes Arc

The Canon Arcs Closely follow the Source Material that is Naruto’s Manga. These are the episodes you must watch.

During the Start of the Naruto Anime Series, the show was in sync with the Manga.

The Arcs are divided into 5 parts:-

1. Prologue – Land of Waves Escort Mission (1-19)

This Arc is the starting Arc and it introduces us to the world of Naruto and its Characters. Here we see the formation of team 7 and the mission on Land of Waves.

2. Chūnin Exams (20-67):

One of the most thrilling arcs in the whole series. The team is introduced to many important characters like Rock lee, Might Guy, Orochimaru, etc.

This Arc has many moments that will completely shock you and the story gets dark.

3. Konoha Crush (60-80) :

The Konoha Village is half destroyed by Orochimaru and other Shinobi. This Arc has many breathtaking and well-Choreographed fights.

If you love watching Anime fights then this would be a treat for your eyes.

4. Search for Tsunade (81-100):

In this Arc, the members of the Akatsuki are introduced. We get to see the new Sanin Tsunade, one of the world’s best medical-nin.

Things get very much intense in this arc and definitely, it would end up surprising you.

5. Valley of the End (107-135):

This Arc is famously known as Sasuke’s Recovery Mission. Uzumaki Naruto tries to stop Sasuke from joining Orochimaru.

This arc has the best Anime Fight Scenes and you would absolutely love it.

7. Naruto Fillers episodes Arc

These are episodes that are not important to the story and you can surely consider skipping them.

These episodes usually contain team 7 teaming up with characters that are not important to the story.

1. Land of Tea Escort Mission (102 to 106):

Tsunade was pushed to send genin for a Jonin level mission because fewer Jonin were available. Team 7 was assigned to do this mission however Kakashi was assigned to another mission.

In this Arc team 7 tries to help Morino win a race in the Land of Tea.

2. Land of Rice Fields Investigation Mission (136 to 141)

Jiraiya, Naruto, and Sakura try to find locations and more information about Orochimaru and Sasuke. This quest leads them to the Land of Rice Field.

After a couple of failures in finding any information about them thanks to Jiraiya’s perverted behavior, they find a young kunoichi named Sasame of the Fūma clan.

3. Mizuki Tracking Mission (142 to 147):

This Arc starts just after the Rice Fields Arc. Naruto tries to capture an escaped prisoner Mizuki who had a connection with Orochimaru.

Mizuki was the same person who tried to take Naruto’s advantage in episode 1.

4. Bikōchū Search Mission (148 to 151)

After seeing Team 7 in so much trouble. Team 8 finds out a solution on how to find Sasuke.

Bikōchū is a beetle that could track any target as long as it had the target’s scent. Naruto along with Sakura and Team 8 tries to find Bikōchū.

5. Kurosuki Family Removal Mission (152 to 157)

Jiraiya was gone and nobody knew when he will arrive.

Naruto decided to train without him while training he found three weak and injured men. Tsunade orders Might Guy and Naruto to help them.

6. Gosunkugi Capture Mission (159 to 160) :

Gosunkugi is a wanted Criminal from the land of Stone. On the way to the land of Fire, He stopped at Konoha Village.

Naruto, Kiba, and Hinata were sent to capture the Criminal.

7. Cursed Warrior Extermination Mission (162 to 167):

Naruto along with Neji and Tenten met a young Boy named Chishima. He had some trouble going on in his Village Land Of Birds.

According to the rumors, there was one Ghost wandering in that Village. Naruto along with others goes to Land of Birds in order to investigate and find out about the Ghost

8. Kaima Capture Mission (169 to 173):

Ino, Shiba, and Naruto tags along with Anko on a mission as other Shinobis were not available. The mission was in the land of the Sea.

Later the genins find out about how Orochimaru did conduct some experiments and kidnapped people and used them as lab rats in the past.

9. Buried Gold Excavation Mission (175 to 176):

Tsunade noticed that Naruto, Hinata, and Kiba had a low rate of mission success lately.

So she assigned them a mission and said if they fail in this mission then they will be sent back to the academy.

10. Star Guard Mission (178 to 183): 

Naruto and Team Guy go to Hoshigakure to help the villagers guard their precious chakra-emitting star (which was actually a meteorite).

11. Peddlers Escort Mission (187 to 191): 

Naruto along with Hinata and Choji goes into the land of vegetables for a mission. On the way they noticed smoke coming from the Village which made Naruto Curious.

12. Third Great Beast Arc (195 to 196):

Might Guy was sent on Mission with Yagura but later Tsundae finds out that he was an imposter.

Yagura tries to take revenge along with his Ninja brothers.

13. Konoha Plans Recapture Mission (197 to 201): 

The Hidden leaf was having new construction as well as expansion and to help them build they called many workers from outside the village.

One of the worker’s names was Genno and Naruto Bonded with him very well. Later Anbu finds out that he was actually a spy and took the blueprint of an important project.

14. Yakumo Kurama Rescue Mission (203 to 207): 

Kurenai decides to leave team 8 temporarily to deal with her old student named Yakumo Kurama. She was a brilliant student with great genjutsu skills.

15. Gantetsu Escort Mission (209 to 212): 

Naruto, Sakura, and Lee were sent to the mission which was about escorting a wanted criminal named Gantetsu.

16. Menma Memory Search Mission (213 to 215):

Nauto discovered a young man who was floating in the river. He quickly took him to the hospital. Later they found out that the boy has lost his memory.

Naruto tries to help the boy whom he named Menma.

17. Sunagakure Support Mission (216 to 220):

Ninjas from hidden leaf are sent to help Matsuri from unknown Four Celestial Symbols Men.

7. Naruto Anime Filler episodes worth watching

Fillers are episode which doesn’t contribute much to the main storyline but that doesn’t mean they are bad. Some fillers do contain good character development.

Naruto does have many fillers but some of them are interesting to watch and if you have enough time you can even consider watching these episodes.

1. Kurosuki Family Removal Mission Arc (152-157)

The characters introduced in filler episodes are not Canon but in this Arc, we are introduced to Raiga Kurosaki who is the villain of that arc.

The character ends up being the Canon Character and is one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen. We found this information via Naruto Fandom Forum.

2. Yakumo Kurama Rescue Mission (203 to 207): 

This is a filler Arc for sure but I feel like we get to know about a lot of things and how the world of Naruto works.

We get information about Genjutsu, Kekkei Genkai, and more which is very interesting to watch.
